Real Madrid Star ‘Frustrated’ With Lack Of Goals This Season

Real Madrid midfielder, Jude Bellingham is reportedly frustrated with his lack of goals this season.

The 21-year-old continues to be influential in the middle of the park for Madrid, but he no longer has the flair that he had around his name last season.

The youngster, who had joined los Blancos from Borussia Dortmund prior to the current season, flourished under Carlo Ancelotti’s tutelage and was scoring goals in La Liga for fun.

The England international had already scored ten goals at this point last season, but he hasn’t scored one this campaign, indicating that his luck has drastically changed.

According to Marca as reported by Madrid Universal, Bellingham is frustrated with his lack of goals this season and feels that he must start scoring goals in order to be fully satisfied with his efforts.

He hasn’t had the chance to show the supporters his famous “open arms” celebration in a very long time. And this season, the Santiago Bernabeu is sorely missing it.

Despite his limited involvement, the young player has been without a goal for the Spanish giants for so long that his past three goals have all come for England.

He hasn’t scored for Los Blancos in more than 150 days, with his most recent goal for Real Madrid coming against Deportivo Alaves in May.

Kylian Mbappe’s arrival has forced Bellingham into a deeper midfield role with fewer sight of goal, which, arguably is one of the main reasons for the formation shift and his lack of goals.
