Chelsea-bound teenager Estevao Willian has yet to complete his transfer to the London club, but the Brazilian has already piqued the interest of compatriot Neymar.
The Blues agreed to a contract for the teenage phenom earlier this year, with Estevao costing an initial £29 million and potentially up to £56 million with add-ons. However, he will not move to London until the summer of 2025, after turning 18.
For the time being, the winger is still at his boyhood club Palmeiras. He has been in excellent form for the Sao Paulo club, scoring a goal and assisting in a 5-3 win over Juventude over the weekend.

That brought his season total to 18 goals, a record for a player under the age of 19 in Brazil’s Serie A. Neymar previously held the record, and he was among the first to congratulate his fellow Brazil international.
“Congratulations Estevao Willian for the broken record,” Neymar posted in an Instagram story. “May you continue to excel and captivate everyone with your soccer skills. Fly.”
Neymar set the record with Santos in 2009. Back then, he had 10 goals and 6 assists, but Estevao Willian still has eight matches to add to his tally.
Palmeiras has won seven of its previous eight games, leaving them only one point behind league leaders Botafogo. A potential title decider is scheduled for late November or early December, with Palmeiras seeking vengeance after Botafogo eliminated them from the Copa Libertadores in August.
“I decided for Chelsea because of their planning,” Estevao told The Guardian earlier this month. “I was quite happy about that. Not only for me, but for my entire family. The club believed in me and my job. I hope I can repay that.
