Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing AC Milan forward, Raphael Leao.
Following his 2019 transfer from LOSC Lille to San Siro Stadium, the 25-year-old has become a talisman for the Rossoneri. In 2022, he even assisted the Italian strongholds in winning the Scudetto.
For Portugal, the forward has also been an important figure. With four goal contributions in six Serie A starts this season, he has had a decent start.
According to Fichajes, Leao’s current contract with Milan is set to expire in 2028, and it includes a £146 million release clause. However, the Milanese side are prepared to part with their best player for almost £100 million.
According to Football Talk, his price drop has therefore generated a lot of interest in him, with United and Arsenal eager to recruit him. The Gunners and the record Premier League champions will have a difficult time closing the deal because Paris Saint-Germain is also planning a raid for him.
The outlet further stated that Mikel Arteta believes Leao would be the ideal choice to bolster the attack in order to contend for the Premier League and Champions League trophies.

Arsenal presently have Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard, while the Red Devils have Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford to use on the left wing. Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus can also fill this role if necessary.
In light of this, both teams have plenty of options in the left-wing position, although squad upgrading is always required.
