Barcelona defender, Roanld Araujo is reportedly working off days to make an early return from the hamstring injury he sustained in Uruguay’s Copa America quarterfinal against Brazil.
Soon after, the Blaugrana defensive rock went back to Catalonia, where it was agreed that he would have surgery to fully recover. He has gradually recovered since then and is now raising the stakes.
After the surgery, Araujo spent time with his family for a while before he started working with a physiotherapist in his home country to speed up his recuperation.
He returned to Barcelona in the middle of September and started rehabilitating at the club’s facilities. Recently, he currently start working on the grass.
According to a recent update from SPORT as cited by Barca Universal, Araujo is now totally focused on ending his period and is working around the clock to fully recover.
Even on Monday and Tuesday, when the rest of the team had the day off, the 25-year-old was spotted at the club’s facilities.
Araujo was first anticipated to return in December or January, but encouraging rumors have suggested that the player would return sooner.
