Incoming Manchester United boss, Ruben Amorim has reportedly been tipped to as the correct managerial appointment.
Erik ten Hag’s time at Old Trafford came to an end on Monday as he was sacked after managing just four victories in all competitions this season. Due to their terrible recent performance, United dropped to an unsightly 14th place in the Premier League standings.
With Ruud van Nistelrooy serving as their temporary manager until the international break, United are currently finalizing the details to appoint Amorim as their main man. The coach of Sporting Lisbon continues to be attracting attention in Portugal, winning two Primeira Liga titles while in charge.
He’s the real deal for United, according to Gabby Agbonlahor, who learnt coaching techniques alongside Amorim.
Speaking on talkSPORT as echoed by the Daily Star, Agbonlahor said: “I did do my coaching badges with him.
“You do your own sessions because you have to pass the badges. But he was one of the ones who was there and you could tell was so into it in a way that he had to get his badges to go and start managing.

“Since the start of last season, Sporting Lisbon have scored the most goals in the top six leagues. They were waiting 19 years to win a title, he goes there and they’ve won two in the last five seasons,” reports The Mirror.
“I just think when you look at what he’s done since leaving Braga to Sporting Lisbon, winning their first title in 19 years, Manchester United have got the right man.”
