Neville Maintains Arsenal Title Prediction Amid Liverpool Gap

Gary Neville has reportedly refused to change his stance on Arsenal Premier League title prediction despite their recent dip in form.

After losing to Newcastle over the weekend, the Gunners fell farther behind Liverpool at the top of the Premier League standings.

Mikel Arteta’s team have dropped to fifth position with just five victories in ten games.

Although many predicted that Arsenal would win the league this season, they are now in the middle of the pack, seven points behind Liverpool and five behind champions Manchester City.

The team have been severely impacted by injuries, with important players like Martin Odegaard sidelined.

According to the Daily Express, Neville is still certain that Arsenal can win the title, even if he had picked them as his preseason favorites.

He advised the squad to not focus on their injury problems, saying: “There is an element of them feeling sorry for themselves because they’ve got a few injuries – come on!

“You can win the league title, become Arsenal legends! No one is interested in whether you’ve got a few injuries, those players will come back, don’t wait for them.”

The Manchester United legend added: “They’ve had some tough games, going to Newcastle is tough.

“But Arsenal at this moment, there are big questions being asked. But I don’t rule them out of winning the title – I’ve still got them winning the title.

“This might be what they need. I might look stupid and people will play this back in months going, ‘What the hell were you talking about?'”
