Due to a preseason injury, the Spanish forward missed the first few games of the season but has unable to capitalize on the opportunities that manager Hansi Flick has given him.

Indeed, after a lackluster performance against Real Sociedad this past weekend, rumors surfaced that the Barcelona head coach is unsure about Fati’s ability to contribute on the field, either as a starter or even as a substitute.

As a result, there have already been rumors that Ansu Fati may depart in January, and Barcelona is willing to let him go if he requests it.

Sevilla is among the teams who have expressed interest in the 22-year-old and Real Sociedad has also showed interest in the Barça academy product.

Fati hasn’t displayed the spark that made him a tremendous hit early in his career at Barcelona in the few outings he’s made this season, reports Barca Universal.

As a result, the coaching staff and board are starting to worry that an exit would be the best course of action for the player and the team.
