Barcelona Plot The Signing Of €80M-Rated Serie A Forward

Barcelona are reportedly planning a swoop for Napoli winger, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the next summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old’s entourage has been contacted by the Catalan club to discuss the prospect of switching from Napoli in the summer.

It was even implied that Kvaratskhelia would be “delighted” with the prospect of moving to Barcelona because he would be continuously vying for major honors.

Furthermore, according to La Repubblica via Barca Universal, the Balugrana are already planning a last effort to move his deal forward in the summer.

According to reports, the deal might cost up to €80 million. Although he has a higher release clause, his contract expires in 2027, and his agents are currently refusing to renew in order to pressure the situation.

Kvaratskhelia favors Barcelona over PSG because he thinks he might win significant titles there, according to Italian sources.

Napoli and Kvaratskhelia do hold somewhat different stances. At first, the player wanted €6 million a season, which Napoli could only afford in a long-term contract with a €150 million release clause. He currently earns €1.5 million net.

Given this situation, the Georgia international’s management asked for a release clause that only included €80 million, which is the amount they think the player may fetch this summer.
