Barcelona forward, Robert Lewandowski has expressed his feelings after becoming just the third player to reach 100 goals in the UEFA Champions League history.
Once again, Lewandowski was Barcelona’s standout player of the evening as they defeated Brest 3-0 in the Champions League.
With two goals that night, the Poland international joined Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as the only players with at least 100 Champions League goals.
According to Barca Universal, after the match, Lewandowski told the Mundo Deportivo how happy he was to have scored 100 Champions League goals.

“Years ago I didn’t think I would reach my 100th goal in the Champions League,” said the forward, who is still going strong at the age of 36.
“It’s good to have your name next to Cristiano and Messi. I’m very happy, I didn’t think I would score this many goals in the Champions League,” added Lewandowski, whose current UCL goals tally stands at 101, following the brace against Brest.
Lewandowski also talked about Barcelona’s performance against Brest, praising the team’s attitude and upbeat energy in particular.
“We played as a team, we played slowly at times but with patience. The important thing is that we have 3 more points.
“We have to look not only at the Champions League but also at the league. We know that we have to play every game at 100%,” he said.
“For me, the most important thing is to win every game, scoring a goal is the solution to win but until the end of the year, you have to win every game,” the striker added.
