The bus was traveling south on the M40 at the time of the collision.
Social media users shared footage of a bus that appeared to have been in a collision with a truck.
A driver told the Mail: ‘It probably happened about five minutes before I got there. I nearly crashed into the car in front of me because everyone suddenly stopped.
‘I couldn’t tell if any of the team were on the coach but it was definitely Real Madrid branded, with all the logos. It was unmistakable.
‘The coach was on the hard shoulder. It was really, really badly smashed up at the front, which had crumpled into the back of a white lorry.
Although Warwickshire Police acknowledged receiving an accident complaint, they currently have no other details.
