Salah has scored 16 goals and provided 11 assists across all competitions in yet another outstanding season with the Reds.

Despite this, his contract expires at the end of June of next year, leaving his future unknown.

Although negotiations for a new long-term contract have begun between the Merseyside powerhouses and the Egypt international, it is still uncertain if the attacker will commit to the Reds for a few more seasons.

Falk emphasized in an interview with Bild show Englische Woche that they are actively searching for a capable replacement for Salah, whose contract ends in the summer.

Omar Marmoush has frequently been named as a target, but according to the reputable writer, the Reds are looking for an experienced player who can quickly follow in Salah’s footsteps, and Sane is on their radar.

When Sane left Manchester City for Bayern, he was among the best wingers in the English Premier League.

Although he has been a vital member of their team throughout the years, he has fluctuated in the starting lineup ever since Michael Olise joined them last summer, reports Football Talks

Transfermarkt rates him as a player worth £50 million. The Reds could recruit a top contender like Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford on a free transfer.
