Amad Sends Message Following Heated Exchange With Hojlund

Manchester United ace, Amad Diallo has sent a clear message after the Red Devils returned to winning ways against Viktoria Plzen in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday night.

Rasmus Hojlund scored both goals to secure the three points in a 2-1 win as United moved up to seventh place in the League stage table. The top eight teams automatically advance to the elimination stage.

After the players failed to pass to each other in two different counterattacks in the game’s final moments, Amad and Hojlund were seen arguing at full time. The argument was deemed “perfect” and a “very good sign” by Manager Ruben Amorim.

According to Manchester Evening News, since then, Amad has posted a message about the game on social media, but it made no reference to the full-time words.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “A difficult field to play on, but winning was the best thing. We keep going.”

His United teammate, Antony, responded to the message by leaving comments with heart, fire, and fist bump emojis.

Since the arrival of Amorim, Amad has been a vital member of the team. The Ivorian has contributed four assists in the Portuguese coach’s six games in charge, including two in the side’s 4-0 victory against Everton and one in the team’s 3-2 loss to Nottingham Forest last week.

With the January transfer window approaching, the 22-year-old is reportedly one of the players that United view as “unsellable.” As they begin a rebuild under the new head coach, the club are believed to be willing to sell more than half of their team for the appropriate price.
