Gabriel Jesus scored a hat-trick for Arsenal against Crystal Palace on Wednesday night, following a simple word to Martin Odegaard.
The Brazilian has had a disappointing season so far, with no Premier League goals, but he was named to the starting lineup for the Carabao Cup quarter-final against the Eagles.
The Gunners were struggling after falling down early on and trailing 1-0 at halftime thanks to a goal from Jean-Philippe Mateta.
Odegaard was introduced at halftime and helped change the tide, giving two assists for Jesus on his route to a 3-2 triumph.

The former Manchester City attacker instructed the Norwegian exactly what to do when he came on the pitch, and it worked flawlessly.
‘Obviously, the first half wasn’t our best, but in the second half, we did our job, we created more, we kept the ball more, circulated the ball, made passes, and then Martin put in two amazing balls in the end, as did B [Bukayo Saka], and I was able to finish the action,’ said Jesus, who also praised Saka for the other assist. Reported By Metro.
‘Martin’s quality is superb. He’s the type of guy that can pass the ball and get you in front of the goal.
Mikel Arteta said of his striker’s excellent return to goal-scoring form: ‘So glad for him, it’s been a long period for him without goals, and today to score three goals, the three types of goals he scored tonight as well, and the numerous moves in which he was involved, he looked extremely sharp.
‘I think it’s a terrific thing for him and for the squad to be able to rely on a player of his caliber.’
