Ian Wright has reportedly advised Dani Olmo to leave Barcelona and sign for Arsenal when the January transfer window opens.
In January, the Gunners need to enhance their attacking positions. As they haven’t scored in their last three league games from open play.
According to TBR Football, the Arsenal legend has been talking about Olmo’s situation at Barcelona and has suggested a possible transfer to Arsenal on the Wrighty’s House Podcast.
Olmo was linked to Arsenal during the summer transfer window due to his outstanding Euro 2024 success.

In January, the 26-year-old will be available on a free transfer if Barcelona can’t resolve their financial issues.
The Catalan club are certain they will keep Olmo, though.
Wright did, however, argue that the midfield player should sign for Arsenal, saying that this may be the ideal move for Olmo to emulate Martin Odegaard and find a permanent home.
“He’s got the vibe for me, Dani Olmo, that he needs a home. He needs a home, like how we gave Martin Odegaard. You need a home, Dani.
“Have you seen what’s happened with Martin Odegaard? He needs a home. Come to Arsenal. I’m telling you, you are exactly what we need, Dani.”
At Arsenal, Olmo most likely wouldn’t be able to play that frequently.
Odegaard is already at Arsenal, as Wright mentions, and Olmo would undoubtedly be behind the captain in the pecking order if he were to move to the Emirates.
There will undoubtedly be a ton of rumors about Olmo going into the January transfer window because of his unusual situation with his Barcelona registration. But a move to Arsenal might not be the best course of action.
