The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 17 saw Mohamed Salah (£13.5m) continue his dominance in the game.
The Liverpool talisman produced four attacking returns (two goals and two assists) to collect 21 points in the Reds’ ruthless 6-3 victory over Tottenham Hotspur which ultimately earned him the player of week award.
His points total of 177 is 46 higher than Cole Palmer (£11.2m), who is second in the FPL standings for most points won. Speaking of Palmer, the Chelsea ace has now recorded two successive blanks against Brentford and Everton. This is after his two goals and an assist in the Blues’ 4-3 win against Tottenham.

Apologies to Alexander Isak (£8.5m), who until yesterday was the man leading the chart to headline this week’s newsletter, no thanks to Salah’s scintillating performance. We spoke about his huge potential to haul against Ipswich Town, and boy did he deliver on the promise. The Sweden international plundered a hat-trick to claim 17 points for his new and existing owners.
Ola Aina (£5.0m) forced his way to the top of the defenders standings following an attacking and defensive returns to collect 15 points and subsequently took his seasonal tally to 75 in Nottingham Forest’s 2-0 win against Brentford at the G-Tech stadium.
The Tricky Trees therefore, became the first team to defeat the Bees at their home-ground this season.
Erling Haaland (£14.8m) has now made it two consecutive GWs without any returns. But fear not, as the Manchester City talisman could be up and running again.
With City facing teams with Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR) placed at two in their next three matches, the Norwegian could be back on his feet again.

Please Note: Winners will be contacted directly by the iSoccer FPL admins ONLY if they have dropped a comment or their team names at any point during the season. Winners who haven’t fulfilled any of the above requirements would have their win passed down to a next eligible manager (who has sent in comments).
This will be done on the next Gameweek’s Deadline Day (provided winners didn’t comment still). And once payments are made to another manager, it becomes irreversible.
No manager is entitled to win in two consecutive GWs. So, any reward of such would be passed down to the next manager in line. This is necessary to make winnings go round.
Net points for the week will be used in picking winners, rather than gross points.
Also Note: Each player is entitled to only ONE team. Therefore, payments will be denied from players with more than one team, and passed to next manager.
All players are also advised to follow the social media handles and to visit the iSoccer website frequently.
