Former Manchester United and Liverpool forward, Michael Owen has reportedly aimed a swipe at Noussair Mazraoui for conceding a penalty in the Red Devils’ disappointing 3-0 loss to Bournemouth at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Only seven days after making a spectacular late comeback in the Manchester Derby, Ruben Amorim’s side were humiliated on their own turf by the Cherries.
Dean Huijsen, a young defender, headed in an unmarked free kick to give Andoni Iraola’s team the lead as they dominated the match at Old Trafford.
Less than 15 minutes after halftime, Mazraoui misjudged a challenge on Justin Kluivert in the penalty area, giving Bournemouth the opportunity to increase their lead.

Kluivert duly converted the spot kick before Antoine Semenyo added a third few minutes later to secure a comfortable win for the visitors.
According to Daily Mail, following the humliating defeat, Owen did not hold back in regard to United, who he deemed are ‘not a good team’.
“A little rash? A little stupid more like,’ said Owen on Premier League Productions. ‘What on earth are you doing? Two players are waiting for him, he’s not going to score from there and he dives in.
“Just stay on your feet and usher him away. It’s just a poor, poor decision. The sad thing about Manchester United these days is they go 1-0 down and you never really think they’re going to come back.
“They’re not a good team. Ruben Amorim needs to be watching that game and ensure these players that are not performing do not put on the shirt again. He needs to be that brutal and that ruthless.”
