Alejandro Garnacho’s Transfer Stance With Napoli Preparing For Man Utd Talks

Alejandro Garnacho is open to joining Napoli as the Italian club works on a deal to sign the Manchester United star.

The Italian club has already made measures to improve their ranks in January, including raiding the Premier League side. Napoli are ready for a cash influx but need to find a successor for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who is poised to join PSG after making it obvious that he wants to leave.

Antonio Conte and those from Naples have set their sights on Garnacho, whose future at Manchester is uncertain. His status under Ruben Amorim remains uncertain, and the club’s financial situation means they are open to proposals, including trading their top assets. According To Mirror.

Garnacho is open to an Italian switch, according to the Independent, and any potential sale would be pure profit for the Red Devils as they seek to stay on the right side of the PSR regulations.

The two parties have negotiated a cost that falls just shy of the £40 million offered by Napoli. However, United want to pay a cost similar to the £70 million that PSG recently paid for Kvaratskhelia. Personal terms are not likely to be an issue.

Garnacho made headlines for the wrong reasons when he was withdrawn, along with Marcus Rashford, from United’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City in December. Amorim stated at the time that it was due to “selection” rather than injury, but the Argentine has since returned to the team.

Those at Old Trafford may see several of their top lights leave this month, with Sir Jim Ratcliffe making it clear they will listen.
