Real Madrid are reportedly showing interest in Everton defender, Jarrad Branthwaite with reports stating the Toffees’ position on a possible departure for the England international.
Since joining Everton in 2020, Branthwaite has developed into one of the Premier League’s top young center backs following loan stints at PSV and Blackburn Rovers.
The 22-year-old is one of the first names on the Toffees’ teamsheet when fit and available, and his ascent has been so remarkable that he has even earned an England cap.
The rumors that Branthwaite is leaving Everton have been around for a while, especially since the Toffees have been on the verge of Premier League relegation in previous years.

According to TBR as reported by Team Talk, Spanish and European giants Madrid are currently taking a great interest in Branthwaite.
Los Blancos are searching for a new center-back during the summer transfer window because David Alaba is currently 32 and has had major injury issues recently, while Antonio Rudiger is now 31.
According to the report, Branthwaite, who has contributed one assist in 18 games in all competitions for Everton this season, is “hugely admired” by Madrid.
Madrid would have a difficult time negotiating a deal for the young Englishman, though.
According to the media outlet, Branthwaite, who has been called “a revelation”, is open to extending his time at Everton by signing a new deal.
According to reports, Everton are certain that they will be able to retain Branthwaite and will ask for between £70 million and £80 million for the defender.
