Renewal on the cards
According to a recent Defensa Central story, Real Madrid’s management and administration are satisfied with Courtois’ performance and would like to grant him a contract extension to keep him at the club beyond his current deal.
The Belgian now has a contract with Real Madrid that expires in the summer of 2026, and Los Blancos intends to extend it by one year due to Courtois’ strong performance and consistency.
He may be 32 years old, but it is well established that goalkeepers can provide more years of service than outfield players.
