Both Tuchel and Kane reached significant milestones as the game’s top scorers were Harry Kane, who scored his 70th goal for his nation, and Myles Lewis-Skelly, an England rookie.

Kane and Tuchel worked together for a season at Bayern Munich, which was a disappointing season for the Rekordmeister but an outstanding season for Kane himself in front of goal.

After a lengthy tenure under Gareth Southgate, Kane was talking about the Three Lions starting a new chapter under Tuchel.

The captain acknowledged that the England Manager played a significant role in his decision to leave Tottenham for Bayern last summer.

“Thomas Tuchel was a big reason why I went to Bayern Munich in the first place. I know how good of a coach he is, reports Bavarian Football.

He brings a lot of energy, enthusiasm and passion when he speaks. I had a really good season with him last season.

I’m excited to start this England chapter with him,” Kane said.
