Marcus Rashford Might Help Manchester United Raise £310 Million This Summer

Manchester United loaned Marcus Rashford to Aston Villa in February after the winger fell out of favour under Ruben Amorim. However, if the England star agrees to a permanent transfer away from Old Trafford, he may help the Red Devils raise £310 million in the summer.

Rashford has struggled for form in recent years, and he joined the Villans hoping to regain his golden touch in the final third. His stint in the West Midlands has been encouraging, with the 27-year-old recording four assists in nine games and earning a recall to the England squad under Thomas Tuchel. And United are apparently looking to cash in on him during the summer transfer season.

Villa have the option to sign Rashford for £40 million at the end of the season. If they agree to sell to another club, they will most likely demand a similar fee. According To Express News.

The United academy graduate might be one of eight high-profile exits this summer, with teenager Kobbie Mainoo also expected to leave Old Trafford if he and the club cannot agree on a new contract.

United will also be desperate to unload Jadon Sancho for good, with Chelsea set to pay the north west club £25 million to get the winger’s services permanently following his loan term at Stamford Bridge. However, there has been speculation that the Blues may pay a financial penalty to get out of the arrangement.

Another player who has temporarily left Old Trafford is Brazilian flop Antony. The winger, who cost United a whopping £81 million in 2022, had a miserable period in Manchester before joining Real Betis on loan in January. The Red Devils will allegedly accept £40 million to complete a transfer.
