A Sky Journalist Has A ‘Disappointing’ Transfer Update For Tottenham Fans As The Window Opened Last Week

We’re entering the final week of the transfer market, and Tottenham may still have work to do.

Spurs are reportedly still looking for a dynamic midfielder, and Jacob Ramsey is a possible candidate.

Unfortunately, it does not appear that the Aston Villa man will be on the move this late in the day.

Indeed, according to Michael Bridge on Last Word on Spurs, Tottenham’s interest in Ramsey has waned, and only one signing is now expected at Spurs before the end of play on Friday.

Tottenham are only expected to make one more signing.

Bridge presented what he knew about Tottenham.

“I believe they need more competition for Vicario, and serious competition. A left-sided defender has been mentioned. I believe the Jacob Ramsey transaction has fallen through because they were unable to reach an agreement with Lo Celso. I think there might be one more, but that’s all the incomings. “I hate to disappoint fans, but that is the information I have right now,” Bridge stated.

Tottenham are looking strong

Tottenham won’t be that busy in terms of making new signings this week, but they don’t necessarily need to be.

Spurs have already made three excellent acquisitions this summer, and with a number of intriguing young players emerging, this squad appears to be strong.

Spurs are currently in a solid position to press on and qualify for the Champions League this season, and while another addition would be helpful, it wouldn’t be the end of the world if Tottenham stayed with their current lineup.

Ange Postecoglou has already developed a great team, and it wouldn’t be a bad thing if Tottenham kept this core together and continued to build from there.

According to reports, Jacob Ramsey will not join Tottenham this week, but the club remains in a great position.
