AC Milan climbed into third place in Serie A, level on points with leaders Napoli, after defeating Juventus 2-0 at San Siro on Saturday evening.
Fikayo Tomori put the hosts ahead in the closing minutes of the first half, but Brahim Diaz equalised early in the second half, and Juventus were unable to respond.
AC Milan have now won back-to-back Serie A games, recovering from their Champions League setback to Chelsea, while Juventus remain in eighth place in the table, seven points off the top.

The Old Lady’s setback was only their second in the league this season, but they have now won only one-third of their nine league games amid a difficult start to the season.
Rafael Leao had the first major chance of the game, hitting the outside of the post in the 20th minute, then hitting the frame of the goal again just past the 30-minute mark.
AC Milan had a penalty appeal turned down in the first half after the ball struck Dusan Vlahovic’s elbow inside the box, but Juventus were not punished.
The home team did grab the lead late in the first half, with Tomori guiding the ball into the nett after Olivier Giroud received a corner from Theo Hernandez.

At the start of the second half, Juventus struggled for creativity, and Milan scored their second in the 54th minute when Diaz danced his way into a shooting position before picking out the bottom corner with a beautiful attempt.
Hernandez came within 20 minutes of adding a third goal for Milan when he clipped the ball towards goal, but the defender’s effort was simply too high.
Milan’s triumph was never in doubt after Tomori scored, with Juventus, who look far from being title contenders this season, struggling to carry a threat for the remainder of the game.
