AC Milan are not interested in free agent Luis Suarez despite recent reports according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian club is now in negotiations with Charles de Ketelaere’s club, Brugge, with the intention of signing him as soon as possible.
Milan are having a great time right now. Last season, they won the Scudetto, defeating city rivals Internazionale. It was their first Serie A title since 2011. They want to continue creating an impressive project at San Siro, and hiring a 35-year-old veteran marksman who is past his prime does not fit that category.
Not that Suarez isn’t deadly. No matter where he goes next, he will continue to excel and take chances that others wouldn’t. He spent two excellent seasons in the Spanish capital after joining Atletico Madrid on a free transfer from Barcelona in 2020, but his contract with the club terminated at the end of June. Suarez may likely remain in Europe to help with the UAE World Cup preparations.
AC Milan are not interested in Luís Suarez as free agent – no talks or conversations. Milan priority is to complete the signing of Charles de Ketelaere as soon as possible. 🔴 #ACMilan

According to the Spanish publication “AS,” Milan is “one step away” from signing Suarez, but Monza, led by Silvio Berlusconi, is also trying to convince him.
Suarez will earn 4 million euros for one season as his base pay if he joins the Rossoneri, plus numerous bonuses and additional revenue from image rights.
