AC Milan star, Rafael Leao, has apologized to Juventus supporters on Twitter after slipping a Bianconeri jersey inside his shorts after their Serie A match on Sunday.
After Milan’s 1-0 win at the Allianz Stadium, the Portuguese striker switched jerseys with a Juventus player.
However, he received criticism on social media from Bianconeri fans for putting the shirt inside his shorts while waving at fans.
Leao apologised on Twitter, writing: “If any fan felt disrespected for putting the shirt inside my shorts, I apologise. It was not my intention to convey any disrespect, on the contrary, I respect all institutions!!
“Forza Milan. The hate is real damn.”

Meanwhile, thanks to Sunday’s victory in Turin, Milan qualified for the Champions League for the third season in a row.
Rafael Leao is expected to sign a contract extension with the Rossoneri in the coming days after agreeing to a new €7m-a-year deal until 2028.
The 23-year-old has 14 goals and 15 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions this season and his previous deal at San Siro was due to expire in June 2024.
The Portuguese striker joined Milan from Ligue 1 side Lille in a €30m deal in 2019.
