Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish has been fined after admitting to speeding in his £100,000 Range Rover.
Last July, a mobile camera caught the Brummie midfielder driving at 44mph in a 30mph zone in Wythall, Worcestershire. Although he did not appear in Worcester Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday morning (May 8), his counsel submitted a guilty plea on his behalf.

Grealish was also charged with failing to disclose information about the driver’s identification. Prosecutors dismissed this allegation after he pleaded guilty to speeding.
John Dye, representing the 28-year-old England winger, stated that he had been “instructed to apologise” on behalf of his client. Grealish was slammed with a £666 fine and given five penalty points.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £110. Magistrates also issued a £266 victim surcharge, leaving Grealish with a total price of £1,042, according to the Mirror.
The first infraction occurred during the UK’s nationwide Covid lockdown. He crashed his automobile the day after advising people to stay at home to protect the NHS during the epidemic in a social media video.
Grealish is thought to earn £270,000 per week at City and is one of the most sought-after footballers by advertisers. He has lucrative endorsement arrangements with kit manufacturer Puma, a rumored seven-figure contract with Gucci, and just became a Pepsi ambassador, also worth an estimated seven figures.
Financial experts forecast he will have pocketed more than £100m by the time he hits 30. However, he has had a tough time on the pitch for Pep Guardiola’s City this season, netting only three goals and making just 10 Premier League starts with as many appearances off the bench for the champions.
