Saracens have been handed a fresh blow after the news Ralph Adams-Hale will miss the rest of the season due to an ankle injury. Reigning English and European champions Saracens found themselves in the headlines for the wrong reasons last week after they were handed a 35-point deduction for a Premiership salary cap offence. Sarries, who are appealing the decision, were back in action on Saturday when they made the trip to Kingsholm Stadium to take on Gloucester and the visitors managed to pick up a 21-12 victory. However, prop Adams-Hale left the field on a stretcher after suffering an ankle injury and the club have now confirmed he will need to undergo a second operation, ruling him out for the rest of the campaign. Saracens are next in action on Sunday when they travel to France to take on Racing 92 in the first group game of this season’s European Champions Cup. Boss Mark McCall is expected to have Mako Vunipola, Owen Farrell, Jamie George, Maro Itoje, Elliot Daly, George Kruis and Billy Vunipola, who all featured for England in the World Cup, available for selection.
