The agent of Manchester United star, Antony has dismissed any links with his client and a move away from the club in an interview.
In 2022, Antony made an £85.5 million move from Ajax to United in order to rejoin former manager Erik ten Hag. However, despite making his debut with a goal against Arsenal, Antony has not had much of an impact.
Given his lack of influence in the final third, there had been growing rumors that he could leave Old Trafford after just four Premier League goals and two assists in his first season and a half in England.
The Brazilian international has come in for significant criticism as a consequence. Particularly since it emerged that United scouts had first valued him considerably less than the £85.5m that they paid out.
According to Daily Mail, Junior Pedroso, his agent, has since asserted that the Red Devils have not given any indication that they intend to let the player go.
What Did Antony’s Agent Say About His Exit Rumours?
“Manchester has so far not communicated any interest in transferring him in either the January or summer window,” Pedroso said.
“Antony is focused on these four months of the season so he can improve his performance. Knowing that he needs to score goals and assists. This is his focus. Today our head is on Manchester United.
“He will come back different. His head has become a little key and certainly in these four months he will show much more than he showed this season.”

In his 17 Premier League games this season, Antony has failed to register a goal or an assist. And as a result, he is solidly relegated to the bench.
Alejandro Garnacho has been favored in recent games. With Marcus Rashford on one flank and Rasmus Hojlund through the middle.
