Nigeria international Ahmed Musa has said he was overwhelmed with the reception he got on arrival at the airport by fans and officials of his new Saudi Arabia club Al Nassr.
The former Leicester City player, who penned a lucrative four-year deal believed to be worth more than 20 million pounds, arrived at the airport on Friday to a rousing welcome as fans trooped out in their hundreds to welcome their new star.
Ahmed was most appreciative of the warm welcome he received.
“What an amazing reception here in Saudi Arabia. I want to thank each and every person who came out and welcomed me at the airport. I am really humbled. I can feel the excitement and energy already,” he said in a tweet.
“I am looking forward to this historic opportunity.”
