Al-Nassr To Offer Big Money For Chelsea Midfielder N’Golo Kante

France midfielder, N’Golo Kante has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Saudi Arabian Professional Football League outfit, Al-Nassr.

Kante has had a spectacular career at Stamford Bridge, playing in 262 games across all competitions and winning the Premier League and Champions League.

While at Stamford Bridge, the France international was considered as the finest midfielder in the world for a while, but the 31-year-old has been hampered by injuries in recent years.

Kante has not played for Chelsea since the middle of August, due to a hamstring injury that required surgery and kept him out until at least the end of February.

That stretch of inactivity comes at a time when he has just over six months left on his contract, and Chelsea are reported to be considering letting Kante leave on a free transfer.

However, the 2018 World Cup champion would not be short of suitors, with Barcelona thought to be among a number of elite European clubs watching the situation.

However, according to Foot Mercato, Al-Nassr may try to sign Kante before any clubs offering Champions League football.

The Saudi Arabian club are looking to make at least one statement signing as quickly as possible, and Kante would fit that bill if he was enticed to move to the Middle East.

Kante may speak to any foreign club about a pre-contract agreement from January, and he may be content to wait for any developments with Chelsea as they wait for his return to play.

Jorginho, Kante’s Chelsea teammate, is in the same boat, having openly stated his desire to remain in West London.
