Alisson Posts Emotional Message To Address World Cup Failure

Following Brazil’s elimination from the 2022 World Cup, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has shared an emotional message on social media.

The Brazil national team’s first-choice goalkeeper in Qatar was the Reds’ keeper.

The Selecao, however, were eliminated from the competition after losing to Croatia in a penalty shootout in the quarterfinal.

After losing in Qatar, manager Tite announced his resignation shortly after the game. Alisson will now take some time to recover before rejoining Liverpool’s training later this month.

Alisson has now posted an emotional message on Instagram expressing his sadness at his country’s exit from the World Cup.

The Brazilian went on to give his gratitude to those who supported him and his team-mates in the competition.

The Liverpool goalkeeper wrote: “Still too hard to cope with this loss, but at the same time I’m proud to have been part of this group, who fought and left everything they had on the field!

“Football has given me many joys, also given me sadness, and this is the greatest of them all! It’s gonna take time to heal, but it will heal.
