Massimiliano Allegri has responded following speculation that he has reached a deal with Arsenal ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.
It’s understood the 49-year-old Juventus manager is the Gunners’ number one target, with Arsene Wenger yet to sign a new contract at the Emirates.
Reports on Saturday suggested Allegri has reached a verbal agreement with the north London club following months of talks regarding taking over from Wenger at the end of the season.
However, the Italian dismissed the the recent rumours in the aftermath of Juve’s 1-1 draw with Udinese in Serie A on Sunday afternoon.
‘The rumours from England are not true. And I’m not the one to decide my future – Juventus will,’ Allgeri stressed.
‘And if these rumours were true, Juventus would be the first to know and I haven’t talked to Juventus yet.
‘We’ll talk and we’ll decide. But I haven’t talked to anyone and to any club in England.’
