Amorim Willing To Lure UEFA Nations League Star To Solve Attacking Issues At Man United

Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim is reportedly willing to sign Sporting CP winger, Francisco Trincao in order to boost his attacking fold ahead of next season.

Due to Amorim’s connection, the club have been linked to Geovany Quenda, Viktor Gyokeres, and Ousmane Diomande. Quenda has already moved to Chelsea, which has hampered United’s transfer desires.

To appease Amorim, United may now concentrate on bringing Trincao to Old Trafford.

The Portuguese winger has scored 24 goals for Sporting Lisbon this season, and the 40-year-old manager is excited to get back together with him.

According to some reports, Sporting may be open to selling Trincao for £30 million when his contract expires at the end of the upcoming campaign.

According to The Mirror, Amorim would welcome a reunion with Trincao at United as he looks for more offensive options.

Barcelona hold a buy-back clause for the former Braga player, but given their current financial difficulties, they are unlikely to exercise it.

United would be wise to invest in Trincao. The Portuguese attacker has excelled this season for both club and country and is a versatile player who can play as a second striker or on the right side.

One of Portugal’s best forwards lately, he helped turn a 3-2 aggregate deficit into a triumph in Sunday’s UEFA Nations League quarterfinal matchup against Denmark by scoring two vital goals off the bench.

Trincao is apparently attracting interest from Arsenal and Newcastle United as well, although the winger might be persuaded to rejoin Amorim at Man United this summer.
