Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has reportedly claimed that ‘nothing changes’ for Jude Bellingham following the signing of Kylian Mbappe.
After much anticipation, Mbappe eventually signed a contract to leave Paris Saint-Germain and join Los Blancos this summer.
Bellingham was Madrid’s driving force in the previous campaign, leading the team to La Liga, Champions League, and Supercopa trophies with an amazing 23 goals and 13 assists in all competitions.
The 21-year-old spent most of his time playing as an attacking midfielder for Borussia Dortmund and Birmingham City. But in 2023–2024, he played a more advanced role most of the time, often occupying the No. 9 position.
Ancelotti will have a difficult time integrating Mbappe into the lineup with Vinicius Jr., Rodrygo, Bellingham, and fellow new acquisition Endryk.
According to Caught Offside, Ancelotti is adamant that things will continue as usual at least for Bellingham.
“Nothing changes for him. Nothing changes,” he said (via BBC Sport). “The first season, he surprised a lot, because he showed fantastic quality, a really mature guy.
“The next season will not be different. He is going to be one of the best players that we have, supporting a lot the team with his quality.”

This summer, Bellingham scored twice to help England reach the Euro 2024 final, where they ultimately lost 2-1 to Spain.
Without a doubt, his most well-known performance came when he converted an overhead kick to equalize in the closing seconds of their round-of-16 match against Slovakia. This forced extra time, where Harry Kane scored the winning goal.
