Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly set to leave Real Madrid after the Copa del Rey final against Barcelona following the aftermath of Los Blancos’ UEFA Champions League exit in the hands of Arsenal.
Ancelotti cast doubt on his future right away by acknowledging that he might be leaving after holders Real’s 2-1 loss to the Gunners on Wednesday night saw them crashing out at the quarterfinal stage.
When asked if he could leave, Ancelotti said: “It could be this year, next year when my contract runs out. There’s no problem about it.
“But when I am done here, I will be grateful to this club. It could be tomorrow, in one year, or in 10 years, but I will be grateful to this club. And that’s it. Full stop.

“We have done very well in the last seasons but this year we have had to suffer. Things haven’t gone as expected but in sport in happen because there are no unbeatable teams.”
According to Sky Sports as reported by The Mirror, Ancelotti will leave his position as Real Madrid’s manager following next Sunday’s Copa Del Rey final against traditional rivals Barcelona, who are already four points ahead of Clasico foes Madrid in the La Liga standings.
Brazil hope to hire the former manager of AC Milan, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain, and talks are now anticipated to intensify.
