The Premier League season has been incredibly disappointing for the Australian, as they lost to Nottingham Forest on the 18th of the season, dropping them to a pitiful 16th place.
The Europa League has been a different story, though, with Spurs in the semi-final and maybe three games away from the winner’s Champions League berth.
If so, Although Postecoglou might escape the axe, there has been increasing speculation in recent weeks that the 59-year-old will go nonetheless.

Postecoglou has frequently mentioned his track record of taking home championships in his second season at a club, and this year’s success could pave the way for a more respectable departure.
Spurs haven’t taken home a trophy since 2008, and Postecoglou has faced a number of challenges in his quest to put a stop to that run.
