Icardi will be desperate to help Galatasaray reclaim first place in the Super Lig. They ended the previous campaign in a rather unexpected position of 13th, with Trabzonspor and Fenerbahce leading the pack.

He joined PSG in 2019, and in 92 games with the team, he scored 38 goals and contributed 10 assists.

Icardi will try to regain his best form at Galatasaray after failing to secure a regular berth in the starting XI at Parc des Princes. This owed  to competition from players like Kylian Mbappe and Neymar.
