The manager of Liverpool, Slot, values that more than birthday parties since this season will be a crucial test for his aspirations to play in Europe.
This is the reason Slot came to Anfield, but after experiencing unpleasant visits with his previous team, Feyenoord, he will need to make it a better Italian Job this time, reports Mirror.
Slot stated: “It’s a big game for me and because of the history these two teams have, the venue, it’s one to look forward to. I think it is the first time my birthday is not as important as tomorrow.” Although we have a great deal of respect for AC Milan, I don’t think any manager is afraid to play the opposition.
We respect all of their players and they have talent but we’re not afraid.
“They demonstrated their form on Saturday by defeating Venezia 4-0, which was excellent. We wouldn’t use the word “scared.” We hold them in high regard.
After winning three of his first four Premier League games, Slot has had what he called a “good start rather than a great start.” Their lone loss came against Nottingham Forest, when they were shocked 1-0 at Anfield.
