Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo has joined Arsenal’s summer transfer wishlist as the Gunners want to bolster their wide attacking positions.

Since Brentford’s promotion in 2021, Mbeumo has continuously performed well in the Premier League but with 13 goals at the midway point in 2024–25, the Cameroon international has elevated to a new level.
Erling Haaland (16) and Mohamed Salah (18) are the only players with more goals.
Top-flight opponents’ interest in Mbeumo is nothing new.
Prior to the January transfer window, he was also linked to Liverpool and Newcastle United.
However, Bees manager Thomas Frank vowed that “nothing will happen” and wished any suitor “good luck” in their attempts to entice the star away.
Arsenal seems to be interpreting that as never, but not now, reports 90 min.
According to reports, the Gunners are considering a potential summertime strategy instead.
Since the 25-year-old forward’s contract with Brentford is only set to expire in 2026, he is already in the last 18 months of it and would probably have to decline a larger club in order to sign a new one.
Both Ethan Nwaneri and Bukayo Saka have sustained injuries in recent weeks, underscoring the need for more bodies in key forward positions.
