Three Premier League teams are allegedly lining up a transfer swoop for Wilfried Gnonto. With Arsenal one of them.
If Leeds United are relegated, the young Italian player is anticipated to depart Elland Road at the end of the season. With Manchester City and Chelsea also keeping tabs for the young Italian forward.
Gnonto moved from FC Zurich to Leeds last summer in a low-cost £3.8 million purchase. The Whites allegedly chose the 19-year-old ahead of plan. This is after failing to sign a number of their other attacking transfer targets.
With a string of outstanding performances that made him an automatic starter under Jesse Marsch. He has carried it over under new manager Javi Gracia. He quickly demonstrated that Leeds had been right to throw him into the fray right away.
The 19-year-old has contributed to seven goals in 20 games this season in Yorkshire. And top clubs in the division have taken note of his outstanding performances.
Arsenal are one of the teams “lining up” an offer for Gnonto at the end of the season, Gazzetta dello Sport claimed.
Given that Gracia’s team are currently two points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League. The Italy international is all but certain to depart the Whites if they are demoted.

Inter Milan are not believed to be in the mix, but Man City, Chelsea, and a few other unnamed clubs are said to be interested.
Given that Gnonto spent eight years on Nerazzurri’s books before joining Zurich in 2020. It might come as a surprise Inter are not in for him.
