Arsenal and Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in RB Leipzig star, Xavi Simons ahead of the summer transfer window. The young Dutchman has also been eyed by Barcelona as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.
According to SPORT as reported by Barca Universal, Paris Saint-Germain plan to sell Simons in the summer for a fee of at least €60 million, which would put Barcelona in a very difficult situation.
The report also claims that Simons has piqued the interest of two other major European teams, Arsenal and Bayern Munich.
Barca may run into problems because both teams have the financial resources to sign Simons and pay PSG’s asking price.
According to the report, RB Leizpig, who presently have Simons on loan, have also made an offer and appear to want to keep him.
Simons has expressed his wish to return to Barcelona, as was previously mentioned, and this is reiterated in the SPORT report.

All parties are still keen to resolve the issue if Simons leaves in early June for the summer’s UEFA Euro 2024.
