Arsenal Consider Signing Crystal Palace Winger

According to  GiveMeSport, Arsenal is allegedly considering a summer deal for Crystal Palace’s charismatic player Eberechi Eze as they want to boost their attacking lineup in front of another vital Premier League season.

‘Superstar’ Eze has become one of Arsenal’s main targets this summer to improve their offensive ranks. The transfer would be wise because he is already a proven asset in England’s top league.

The fleet-footed winger’s current deal reportedly includes a release clause of £60 million (€71 million). Fortunately for Arteta and his team, this would imply that only parameters agreed upon with the player’s camp and payment finalization would require talks.

Potential suitors will be drawn to Eze’s positional flexibility as he has been deployed on the left and in attacking midfield.

Eze, who James Tomkins called a “nightmare for defenders,” managed a long list of minor injuries last season, yet he was still one of the best players from Crystal Palace.

London-born Eze scored 11 goals and provided six assists in 31 appearances in all competitions, helping lead his team to a Premier League 10th-place result.

After yet another spectacular season with the Eagles, a call-up to Gareth Southgate’s Euro 2024 group loomed, sparking talk of a possibly career-defining transfer. However, it is unclear if a cross-London move will ever happen.
