However, since the Saudi-backed Magpies have all the cards for the deal, it looks like the pursuit of the super Swede may soon come to an end because no team is prepared to challenge Newcastle’s determination.
With eight league games remaining, the 25-year-old has already scored 20 goals this season and is frequently hailed as England’s top central striker right now.
