Arsenal Dominate Gongs At The London Football Awards

Arsenal have received multiple accolades at the London Football Awards in recognition of their exceptional performance this season.

Martin Odegaard won the Premier League player award for a season in which he has already managed 10 goals and seven assists. Besting challenge from the likes of Harry Kane, Ivan Toney, Aleksandar Mitrovic and teammate Bukayo Saka.

Manager Mikel Arteta was honored for his excellent work this season with the Manager of the Year award.

While Gabriel Martinelli and William Saliba were also considered for player of the year. It was Bukayo Saka who won the Premier League Young Player of the Year award.

With the Goalkeeper of the Year Award given to Aaron Ramsdale. And these brought the Gunners’ triumphant evening to a close.

What Did Odegaard Say?

‘I just want to share this with the whole team. It’s great to see the club being recognised with all the awards.

‘I think it shows how far we’ve come as a club and what we’re doing this year is very special.’ The midfielder said.

The Lionesses’ accomplishment from last summer’s Euros triumph received additional special honor. As they were given the Power of Football award for winning the Women’s Euro 2022.

Mark Noble, a West Ham legend, was also honored that night. He received the Outstanding Contribution to London Football award for his incredible tenure with The Hammers.

Many Arsenal ambassadors (past and present) witnessed the awards ceremony, which was held at the Roundhouse in Camden. The Gunners currently lead the Premier League by five points.

And will aim to build on their triumph at the London Football Awards by winning the EPL title this year for the first time in almost 20 years.
