The striker for Eintracht Frankfurt is the most recent addition to a list of striker targets that has previously featured players like Ollie Watkins, Benjamin Sesko, and Viktor Gyokeres.

Before completing a permanent transfer the following summer, Ekitike, who made his debut at Reims, joined Frankfurt on loan from Paris Saint-Germain in January 2024.

After Omar Marmoush moved to Manchester City, he helped keep his side competitive by scoring 13 goals in the Bundesliga this season and six in cup tournaments.

There are other clubs involved than Arsenal. The 22-year-old has been linked to Manchester United, Liverpool, and Juventus. He is demanding for about £66 million.

Ekitike will likely leave Frankfurt this summer, but it won’t be cheap. In January, Marmoush joined City, bringing in almost £60 million.

The next sale might bring in even more, with a price comparable to the £65 million Arsenal paid Chelsea for Kai Havertz in 2023.

For more than £40 million, the French forward might become the fifth striker to leave the team in the last six years reports Mirror.

The sale of Randal Kolo Muani to PSG continues to be their record, with Sebastien Haller, Luka Jovic, and Marmoush all bringing in large sums of money.
