Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly set to battle for Barcelona forward, Ferran Torres ahead of the summer transfer window.
Since the former Manchester City player isn’t playing frequently for Barcelona right now, it makes natural that his future is somewhat uncertain.
Numerous clubs appear to be on notice due to Torres’ predicament. According to Fichajes as reported by Caught Offside, suitors include Arsenal, Spurs, Napoli, and AC Milan.
The report further stated that Torres is well-known to Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who has previously contemplated signing him.

It’s also possible that the Spanish tactician knew something about Torres when Man City initially looked at him before signing him from Valencia, even though both weren’t at City at the same time.
Although Torres isn’t the most exciting player in the world of football, it’s obvious that he’s a good player who could give teams like Tottenham and Arsenal more depth.
Because of his versatility, the 24-year-old could help Arsenal cover for forwards like Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus and provide them with an alternative to players like Gabriel Martinelli, Leandro Trossard, and Bukayo Saka.
Given that Ange Postecoglou’s side are having a very challenging season, Torres would potentially be a suitable choice for Tottenham to take into consideration.
According to Fichajes, Torres may leave Barcelona for €40 million, which seems like a very alluring amount if teams decide they can’t afford to spend a lot of money on big names this summer.
