Granit Xhaka has been the most conspicuous departure, but the Gunners are aiming to balance the books after spending heavily on their three major recruits.
According to the Telegraph, Burnley are in negotiations with Lokonga about a season-long loan move, which would reunite the Belgian midfielder with former manager Vincent Kompany.
he pair worked together at Anderlecht before they both separately moved over to England and Kompany would love to have the 23-year-old midfielder at his disposal again.
Lokonga had already fallen out of contention last seson, spending the second half of the campaign on loan at Crystal Palace, and with the arrival of Rice his first team prospects do not look to have improved.
Trusty, a US international who joined Arsenal from Colorado Rapids last year, has yet to make an appearance for the north London club and may never do so.
The 24-year-old defender impressed while on loan at Birmingham City in the Championship last season, appearing in 48 games across all competitions and collecting the supporters’ Player of the Season award.
Unsurprisingly there is interest from the Championship in him again, with Ipswich Town and Swansea City touted as possible destinations, but newly-promoted Premier League outfit Sheffield United are reportedly leading the way to sign him.
