Arsenal is “leading the way” in the competition to recruit Paris Saint-Germain striker Randal Kolo Muani, but Premier League rivals Newcastle United may overtake them.
A number of forwards have been linked to the Gunners in recent weeks, indicating how fierce their summertime pursuit of a center-forward is becoming, reports Football Talks.
Kolo Muani, who is now on loan at Juventus from PSG, is the focus of the North London team.
Since relocating to Turin, the France international has settled in, scoring five goals in just eight appearances for the Italian powerhouses.
The Frenchman is currently being pursued by a number of Premier League teams.

Three years remain on Kolo Muani’s contract at Parc des Princes, and Les Parisiens will seek a higher price than the €95 million (£79 million) they paid Eintracht Frankfurt to recruit him in 2023.
It is a more financially feasible alternative for the Gunners, though, as the source claims that PSG is willing to loan him out with a buyout option in the summer of 2026.
In recent weeks, Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak have been connected to the Emirates, and the list continues to grow. Kolo Muani of PSG is the most recent addition to that list.
