According to reports, Arsenal has looked into a deal for Kylian Mbappe following another setback to his planned transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Real Madrid.
According to Metro, Mbappe and his group are not happy with Real’s current offer, but the player is looking for a new challenge and has long been linked to a move to the Spanish capital.
The La Liga powerhouses are still in the midst of contract negotiations, but they are unable to come to a consensus regarding his compensation package, so a deal is still a long way off.
If Mbappe wants to stay in Paris, PSG still has an offer for him, but they anticipate that he will leave and do not want to be held hostage over money.
Mbappe, who is regarded as one of the top strikers in the world of football, has 288 games played for PSG, 241 goals, and 105 assists. This summer, his contract is set to expire.
The 25-year-old France international is attracting a lot of interest, and the Independent claims that both Arsenal and Liverpool have looked into signing Mbappe.

It is believed, nevertheless, that neither Premier League team wants to violate their pay policy in order to sign the World Cup victor.
Before choosing to join PSG, Mbappe had a breakout season at Monaco in 2016–17, and Arsenal was one of several teams interested in signing him.
The “biggest disappointment” of former Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi’s 15-year tenure at the club, according to Grimandi, was not being able to convince Mbappe to sign a contract.
Grimandi stated, “I think we were really close to getting him, but he declined the project.”
