Arsenal Might Utilize Jakub Kiwior In A Swap Deal To Recruit A £70 Million Premier League Player

Arsenal expects to spend heavily in the coming months, and Berta appears to have been brought in because of his ability to complete ground-breaking transactions across Europe.

Of course, Arsenal may pursue a few high-profile domestic transfers.

Mikel Arteta would want to recruit Alexander Isak from Newcastle United, for example, but that is becoming less realistic by the week.

However, in terms of other top Premier League talent, Berta and his recruitment staff may have just been presented with a new opportunity.

Crystal Palace wants to recruit Jakub Kiwior from Arsenal.

According to Football Transfers, Crystal Palace are now interested in a trade for Jakub Kiwior this summer, who has impressed since Gabriel Magalhaes’ injury.

Kiwior wants to leave Arsenal regardless of how many opportunities he gets until the end of the season.

The Poland international is aware that he’s not going to get chances ahead of Gabriel and William Saliba when both are fit, explaining why he wants a fresh challenge.

Therefore, Palace’s interest in Kiwior could be beneficial for the Gunners, who might be able to arrange a move for Marc Guehi in return.

Arsenal has already expressed interest in Guehi, and it is largely expected that the centre-back would depart south London this summer with only one year remaining on his contract.

According to some rumors, Guehi’s price tag is £70 million, although his contract issue and the inclusion of Kiwior in a trade might significantly reduce that sum.

Marc Guehi might be reluctant to join Arsenal.

Of course, it is worth wondering if Guehi would be persuaded to join Arsenal this summer, given that he would face the same challenge as Kiwior in breaking Arteta’s established partnership.

To put it frankly, Guehi would be far more suited to battle the duo for regular minutes, the type of healthy competition that Arteta values.

Chelsea and Liverpool are currently pursuing Guehi, but include Kiwior in any trade might be Arsenal’s trump card.

Although, it should be recalled that Kiwior is quite keen to return to Italy this summer where he does have interest.

But Oliver Glasner’s proposal at Selhurst Park definitely has a lot of pull – just ask Eddie Nketiah.

And, while Kiwior’s time at Arsenal may be nearing to an end, there’s no reason why he can’t thrive at another Premier League club, and Guehi would certainly be very welcome at the Emirates Stadium in exchange.
